Comic Book Nails

New “Comic Book” Nails! I had so much fun with these. And as we have the Armageddon Expo coming to N.Z soon I may just attempt a few Superhero Designs too - *Grins*

NOTW Submission - Emerald Nails

I decided to try my hand at the NOTW challenge hosted by Nail Pornography. This weeks theme is “Emerald” which required a shopping trip as I had absolutely nothing remotely close colour wise. That’s my excuse anyway - Hahaha. I accented the gorgeous greens with striping tape and gold beads from Born Pretty Store and love the end result. I hope you all do too - Voting has started so please remember to head over to Nail Pornography and vote vote for my design if you think my nails deserve it - :D

Minnie Inspired Nails

I saw some really pretty "Minnie" Nails on Tumblr last so thought I would give them a go. The originals were done by Work / Play / Polish and you can find her HERE. Mine are nowhere near as good as the original nail artists but I'm still pretty pleased with them.

And please excuse the photo. I was in a hurry and trying out a new method, one which needs a ton of improvement - Hahaha!

I Painted These Nails Using the Following Polishes...
*Purple Dynamite by Jordana*Pink Bunny by Jordana
*Cranberry Red by L.A. Colors

Application:
As always, the Jordana polishes only required 2 coats for a gorgeously opaque finish and the same goes for the L.A. Colors polish too. I used dotting tools for the dots and striping tape for the line on my pinky finger. Nice and easy - :)

Plum Attraction Nails

A new haircut meant a new hair colour so what better way to top them both off than with nails to match!

I Painted These Nails Using the Following Polishes...

*Plum Attraction by Revlon
*Gold Digger by L.A. Colors

Application:
I have had this particular Revlon polish in my collection for years and I still adore it. The application is still smooth after years of storage and it only requires 2 coats for a nice, rich colour and covering. The Gold Digger polish by L.A. Colors is a recent purchase and I found the application of this one to be great too. Nice and easy to apply and  also only requiring 2 coats for a nice opaque finish.
